This group project responded to a brief focused on the digital legacy space, exploring how design can create more humane, accessible, and ethical digital systems. Our team developed a platform that provides educational resources for digital sex workers, helping them better understand online risks, privacy, and ways to protect themselves across digital platforms.Within the project, I contributed to the research and ideation process, helping shape the overall direction and visual approach. I was also responsible for creating the motion piece, using animation to communicate key ideas in an engaging and accessible way. The final outcome aimed to raise awareness around digital safety while supporting a community that is often overlooked within conversations about online protection and digital rights.
Visual Direction
This visual direction was created by the graphic designer and served as the foundation for my project. I kept my work consistent with the original style while making a few subtle changes to make it work for animation.
Storyboard
I created my storyboard to help plan out the flow of my animation and how each scene would work. I wanted the animation to feel fast paced, dynamic, and digital, so I used lots of different camera angles, zooms, and transitions throughout. The storyboard helped me test out how the text, images, and movement would work together to show how quickly content can spread online. It also gave me a clear plan to follow while making sure the animation stayed interesting and engaging.
